Why I Built This
Most note-taking tools are cluttered or overly complex, making it hard to focus on writing. I wanted to create a tool that prioritizes simplicity and calm, so users can capture their thoughts and ideas without distractions.
How I Built It
I used Next.js and React to build a fast, responsive interface. TypeScript ensured type safety and maintainability, while TailwindCSS provided a consistent, minimalist design. I focused on intuitive UX, quick note creation, and a clean layout to support focused writing.
What I Learned
I deepened my understanding of user-centric design, especially around minimalism and focus. I learned how to balance essential features with simplicity, and gained experience in optimizing for speed and usability in a writing app.
